I Splurged On This *Gorgeous* Training Crate from Diggs – Here’s Why I Have No Regrets
When I adopted my sweet Golden Retriever, Oakley, I (naively) thought crate training him would be a breeze. Any dog parent will know that assumption was way, way off.
Cut to countless hours of training later, it was still a struggle to get Oakley to go in his crate. After a while, I noticed it came down to something simple: He just couldn’t get comfortable in there! Now that I’ve read more about dogs’ natural resistance to confinement and separation anxiety, I understand why.
I started asking my friends if they knew of a solution. More than one suggested I check out Diggs Pet—a brand with comfortable, durable, and good-looking crates. It was a bit expensive, but I took the plunge.
After months with the Diggs Pet Revol Crate, I’m glad I listened to their advice! Here’s how the Revol had Oakley loving his crate in just ONE WEEK:
The Revol has a puppy divider, removable tray, and three access points (front, side, and ceiling!)
Oakley’s a Golden Retriever, so I knew he was going to grow FAST. One of the first things I learned in my crate training research was that it’s important to buy a crate based on your dog’s adult size, so they have adequate space to feel comfortable and safe in.
Luckily, the Revol comes in 4 sizes: Small (for dogs up to 30lbs), Medium (50lbs), Intermediate (70lbs), and Large (90lbs). Not sure? Take Diggs’ sizing quiz for peace of mind.
The Revol also comes with a removable puppy divider and tray for easy cleanup during potty training. Take these out, and it serves as an adult dog crate, with the added bonus of front, side, and ceiling access points. This feels less restrictive to Oakley – any dog owner who has tried (and failed) to get their dog to go in their crate knows how important this is!
The Revol is can be set up and stored in seconds, and it’s safe
One thing I love about the Revol: the door is SO easy to open and close, unlike wire crates. After pinching my fingers wrestling with wire crate openings (and an angry dog), the Revol latch changed the game. Plus, the Revol comes with handles, collapsible walls, and wheels–I stored it in just 5 seconds. Look how easy this is!
Diggs also goes above and beyond to manufacture their products to the same rigorous safety standards as baby products, which is more than I can say for his old wire crate! The Revol is pinch-proof with no sharp corners or non-toxic materials–it’s so safe.
The Revol is really beautiful, TBH
Our home’s aesthetic is bright and airy – I used to hide our black wire crate in our bedroom because of how much of an eyesore it was. Now, The Revol is a “design lover’s dream” – it’s pretty enough to keep out in my living room. Guests do a double-take when I tell them it’s a dog crate!
Let’s talk price: $375 is steep for a dog crate, but the pros outweigh the cons:
- It will last their ENTIRE life, from puppyhood to adulthood.
- VERY durable – materials are anti-rust and high-quality
- Unique and beautiful design
- Easy to transport: no more hassles setting up at grandma’s house
- Safe – no more pinched fingers or unwelcome vet bills!

It’s not just a training crate, it’s Oakley’s lifelong home
I am so glad I discovered Diggs Pet and their crate training system. I can confidently say the Revol Crate has taken Oakley from struggling puppy with crate anxiety to fully crate-trained adult. As if that wasn’t enough, the durability, portability, and stylish design of the Revol are a big bonus for us humans, too.
If you’re looking to give your fur baby the best crate around, I can’t recommend Diggs Pet enough–they’ve been a complete game changer for us. Now if you’ll excuse me, the king of our house has demanded a walk…
